Bibliotheek Den Haag / Libraries of The Hague

Netherlands

The Hague Library is there for all residents of The Hague. It is the place where everyone has free access to information. The place that inspires all the inhabitants of The Hague to continue to develop. A meeting place in the city. Where members borrow books, movies and music. And seeing each other during one of our countless activities. Every year we welcome more than 2.5 million visitors to our libraries.

Bibliotheek Den Haag (BDH) is part of the Municipality of The Hague. It falls under the Public Affairs Department. Alderman Robert van Asten (D66, Urban Development, Strategy and Europe) has The Hague Library in his portfolio. In addition to the Central Library on the Spui, we have 15 district libraries. Our employees are committed to this with love for you.
