The University and State Library of Bonn (ULB Bonn) is the central university and archive library of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. The University and State Library is divided into a main library in Adenauerallee (Südstadt, World Icon) as well as a departmental library for the fields of medicine, natural sciences and agriculture in Friedrich-Hirzebruch-Allee (Poppelsdorf, World Icon). Taken together, the collection amounts to over two million volumes of books and journals. [1] Furthermore, numerous institute libraries of various sizes are assigned to the ULB. Part of the main library’s holdings have been relocated to an alternative stacks in Castell.
