‘De Krook’ opened the 10th of March 2017. The complex contains the library of Gent but also offices and laboratories of the university of Gent and a research centre for nano-electronics and digital technology IMEC. Before the entrance of the library there is a work ‘De passanten’ from the sculptor Michaël Borremans.
