The library is currently is in it’s fourth location in Limerick City, having started in 1893. It’s second location a Carnegie Library built next to the People Park is currently the site of Limerick City Gallery of Art. Our Local Studies offers specialized and unique collections including the
Séamus Ó Ceallaigh GAA collection. Limerick City Library hosts 7 in house book clubs as well as partnering with 11 other book clubs.
