RBMO comprises the libraries of Oeiras, Algés and Carnaxide, which serve the Municipality of Oeiras with a total of about 172,120 inhabitants distributed by 3 unions of parishes and 2 parishes, as well as all the surrounding municipalities. You can find in the Municipal Libraries a diversity of programs, activities and public services for all audiences, as well as a diverse collection consisting of about 150 thousand books, CDs, DVDs, newspapers and magazines, board games, video games and ebooks, in addition to access to two databases of periodicals and academic articles and content, both online; RBMO also provides technical support to the School Libraries of the municipality of Oeiras. RBMO also offers free access to more than 50 computers, and Wifi in all spaces and offers a network of beach libraries during the summer period.
