The National Library of Liechtenstein (“Liechtensteinische Landesbibliothek”) was founded in 1961 by public law. It collects all printed and digital publications about Liechtenstein and from Liechtenstein citizens, not only books, but also newspapers, magazines, maps, graphic prints, sound recordings, and films.
