Huang Guosheng, born in Maoming City, Guangdong Province, China in 1969, is a member of Guangdong Provincial Writers’ Association and the Translators’ Association of China. He is also an athlete and a member of the Shenzhen Sanda and Boxing Association. This novel, The Road to Shenzhen, won the 4th place in the China Novel Contest and was longlisted for the 9th Maodun Literary Prize. His English poems and stories were published and serialised in China’s Shenzhen Daily and the American magazine Brilliant Flash Fiction and he works as an international businessman and a bilingual Chinese-English writer in Shenzhen, China.
