Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) provides the entire population of Quebec with stimulating environments for discovery and lifelong learning, free of charge. Both online and in its 12 buildings across the province, it brings together and shares Quebec’s history and culture, and opens up horizons to knowledge from around the world. Millions of treasures (books, magazines and newspapers, films, music, images, archives, etc.), accessible to all and preciously preserved for future generations. Passionately committed to our neighborhoods, Bibliothèques de Montréal’s mission is to provide access to reading, information, knowledge, culture and leisure. As a local service, they facilitate inclusion and participation in cultural and civic life. The network comprises 45 libraries in the 19 boroughs of Montreal.
