Screenwriter, author. Born 21/6 1974. Graduated from Aarhus University in 2003 with a Master of Arts in danish and dramaturgy.

Lars Husum made his debut as an author with ‘My Friend Jesus Christ’ that earned him comparisons to such renowned writers as Kim Fupz Aakeson and Hans Scherfig. In 2010 his follow-up novel ‘I am an Army’ was released to good reviews.

Outside of his work as an author, Husum has also worked as a playwright. The play ‘Out of Tune’ was nominated for a Reumert in 2013 and is the basis of his debut as a a feature film screenwriter ‘Out of Tune’ (2019) directed by Frederikke Aspöck.
