Mission: To support and encourage national cultural research, to deposit all the works and documents produced in the country for this purpose, to follow and provide the works published abroad about Türkiye and Turks and the works of Turkish authors published abroad, to provide services to researchers in order to facilitate scientific and artistic studies As a “national accumulation center”, to ensure the flow of information at home and abroad, and to contribute to the formation of the national cultural policy of the country depending on all these.

Vision: Providing the national and international information flow accurately and quickly by doing depository of the national intellectual accumulation completely; to be an effective and leading institution in the transformation into an information society with the research opportunities it offers in the social, cultural and economic fields.
