Tadeusz Różewicz Municipal Public Library in Wrocław is a cultural institution established by the Wrocław City Council in the year 2000. It consists of 39 branches, Multicentre and FAMA Library and Cultural Centre. The library network extends over the whole city of Wrocław and is connected by the Aleph integrated library system that allows to explore the collection from all of our branches in one catalogue.

Library is a place that provides free access to literature, e-books and multimedia collection. MPL in Wrocław is an open, everchanging institution that offers an extensive range of activities: literary, travel and circus festivals (Authors’ Reading Month, Parallel Zero and Cyrkopole), family events such as Family Club, puppet theatre, English classes for children and lectures for parents, as well as language exchange meetings, mobile city games, overnight events and socially engaged projects like the Human Library. Our library gives a platform for community leaders and non-profit organizations aiding them in conducting various workshops, courses, and trainings on new technologies.
