Founded in 1925, the Mário de Andrade Library is one of Brazil’s most important cultural landmarks. Located in the heart of São Paulo, it is the city’s first and largest public library, originally formed from the collection of the City Council. Throughout its history, it has become a national reference in culture, research, and the preservation of bibliographic heritage, and today stands as a vibrant space for knowledge, memory, and diversity.
