About the Author
Peter Beck studied Psychology, Philosophy and Economics in Bern, Switzerland, where he also gained a doctorate in Psychology. He divides his time between writing the Tom Winter thrillers and helping businesses to shape their corporate culture. Damnation is his debut novel . He lives in Bern.

Jamie Bulloch is the translator of novels by Timur Vermes, Birgit Vanderbeke, Arno Geiger, Steven Uhly, Robert Menasse and Roland Schimmelpfennig, and of crime novels by Romy Hausmann, Sebastian Fitzek and Oliver Bottini. For his translation of Birgit Vanderbeke’s The Mussel Feast he was the winner of the Schlegel-Tieck Prize.

The genuine descriptions of these places are exciting to read. This book is the first in a series about this protagonist, it is a turn pager and very well written.
