In addition, he has served as Creative Director for the Time magazine group, a founding director of Time-Life Films, an executive producer for both CBS and NBC, and a senior VP at BBDO Worldwide. The author of eight books, he has taught at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and at Duke University.
