Diyar Harraz was born in Cairo, and had grown up in many countries before returning home after almost 14 years. She used to live in the sunny Cape Town, the sandy Egypt, and the hilly part of the UK.
Her debut novel, After the Storm was shortlisted for the Popular’s Readers Choice Award in 2015. Her second novel, One Minute to Midnight was longlisted for the International Dublin Literary Award 2017.
When she isn’t slaving away on a new book, she spends her time visiting places, reading good books, baking and blogging.
