Peter Cunningham was born in 1947 and grew up in Waterford. After graduating from University College, Dublin, he spent some fifteen years working in New York, London and Dublin as an accountant and a trader of commodities, writing thrillers as a side-line. In 1989, he took up writing as a full time career. He lives in County Kildare.
